Ten Hag says Ronaldo will stay at Manchester.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s future remains unclear, with the Portuguese yet to join Manchester United in the pre-season.

Days ago, coach Erik Ten Hag revealed that Ronaldo will not be in the preparatory phase due to personal reasons.

However, various world media continue to write that the Portuguese will leave the Red Devils this summer.

But coach Ten Hag thinks otherwise, who has reiterated the fact that Ronaldo will stay at Old Trafford in the new season.

“I haven’t spoken to Ronaldo yet, so it’s the same situation as a week ago in Bangkok. He continues to train and I think he will be in the right physical shape. To be honest, his form is the last concern for me as we know how professional he is”, said Ten Hag.

Then the Dutch coach was also asked about the midfielder Frenkie de Jong, saying that they are looking for a footballer in the midfield.

“We are looking for a skilled footballer who plays in midfield, but he has to be the right one.”

“There aren’t many in that position of the caliber we’re looking for,” the Dutch coach said.
