Zelensky: Ukraine’s defense costs $ 5 billion a month.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has estimated the monthly cost of defending Ukraine against Russian occupation.
He has stated that the defense against the Russian occupier costs his country five billion dollars a month.
“This is a struggle for the right to dictate conditions in Europe. “A war that will determine what the next world order will look like,” Zelensky said in a virtual speech to delegates to the NATO summit in Madrid.
Zelensky called on NATO leaders to send more weapons and money to Ukraine and to “prevent Russia’s ability to finance the war” through sanctions.
NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg reiterated today that “Ukraine can count on the support of the Alliance for as long as necessary.”
Otherwise, he has once again reiterated his application for membership in the largest military alliance in the world.
