Saudi Arabia announces $400 million in aid to Ukraine

Saudi Arabia will provide $400 million in humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

The Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman had spoken with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The latter said that the pair agreed to “cooperate in the release of Ukrainian prisoners of war”.

“I spoke with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman. Thank you for supporting the territorial integrity of Ukraine, the resolution in the UN General Assembly. We agreed to cooperate in the release of Ukrainian prisoners of war. We agreed on the Saudi macro-financial assistance for Ukraine”, the head of the Ukrainian state asserted.

Otherwise, the United States has recently decided again to send arms worth $725 million to Ukraine.

That will bring total US security aid since Russia invaded Ukraine in February to more than $17.5 billion.
