Juventus has announced that it has officially signed a contract with Argentine Angel di Maria.
Di Maria has made a career for clubs such as Benfica, Real Madrid, Man Utd and PSG.
He has been a mainstay of Argentina’s national team over the years, where he won an Olympic gold medal in Beijing in 2008 and once triumphed in the Copa America in 2021.
He is one of the players with the most assists in Europe’s top five leagues since the start of the decade. With his 131 assists, he is behind Thomas Müller with 149 and Lionel Messi with 174.
Juventus’ contract with the Argentine is for one year with the possibility of extension for another year.
Di Maria was received today by Juventus fans at the center where the medical tests are carried out.
He will wear the jersey number 22.
