Latvia wants Ukraine to be given more HIMARS systems

Latvia wants Ukraine to be given more HIMARS systems.

Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics called for Ukraine to be given more HIMARS systems as well as other weapons.

“Five months since Russia attacked Ukraine. As long as Ukraine continues to fight, we must continue to support it.

Instead of empty words, more HIMARS and other modern weapon systems are needed to stop the war,” he tweeted.

According to the Pentagon, Ukraine already has 12 HIMARS systems and soon the US and other allies will provide at least 8 more.

The Armed Forces use HIMARS systems, especially to destroy Russian ammunition depots, equipment and command posts.
