Ukrainian troops have regained control of the entire territory of the capital region, Kiev.
This was at least announced by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Hanna Malyar, through social networks.
“Irpin, Bucha, Gostomel and the whole Kiev region – has been liberated from the occupier,” she wrote.
This comes after Ukrainian officials said they had recaptured the town of Brovary, which is 15 kilometers east of the capital.
