Biden: We will reposition a Patriot missile in Slovakia.
US President Joe Biden has accused Russia of committing “horrific atrocities” following a rocket attack on a railway station in Kramatorsk in eastern Ukraine that killed at least 50 people and injured 300.
The U.S. president blamed Moscow, saying its military had hit civilians trying to evacuate and reach safety.
Russia has always denied carrying out attacks aimed at children.
Biden also thanked the Slovak government for transferring a missile defense system to Ukraine, fulfilling one of Zelensky’s key demands to help the country defend itself against Russia.
He said the United States would reposition a Patriot missile system in Slovakia.
