Peace talks to be held in Turkey.

Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba have agreed to meet on Thursday in southern Turkey.

Turkish diplomat Mevlut Cavusoglu has said this will be the first meeting between the two officials since Russian troops invaded Ukraine on February 24.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has also confirmed that he plans to meet with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov on March 10.

During a televised address, Kuleba said that if Lavrov is ready for serious talks, he is ready to meet with him.

He has even expressed his readiness to meet with anyone, in order for peace to prevail throughout the world and in particular in his own country.

Otherwise today the Ukrainian and Russian delegations held the third round of talks in Belarus – while the exact location where they met has not been revealed.
