Accident between two buses in Istanbul, nearly 100 injured

In Avcılar, Istanbul, two buses collided head-on for still unclear reasons.

Several vehicles coming from behind also collided with the bus in a very busy area of the Turkish city.

99 people were injured in this accident. Many health, fire and police teams have arrived at the scene.

The firefighters helped the injured passengers who were trapped in the metrobuses involved in the accident.

The injured were given first aid at the scene by medical teams.

We emphasize that the mayor of the city, Ekrem Imamoglu, visited the injured at the site of the accident as well as in hospitals and offered them help.

Otherwise, the Turkish health authorities have not reported any casualties so far.
