Roma is expected to complete the transfer of Frattes.
Davide Frattes continues to remain Roma’s main target for the midfield department.
Although weeks ago everything seemed done, the agreement between the parties has been blocked and Sassuolo is not backing down from its demands for the midfielder.
Roma have a personal agreement with the player who has agreed the terms of the contract which keeps him at the Olimpico until the summer of 2027.
The footballer himself has made it clear to the leaders of Sassuolo that he wants to return to Rome and has asked them to find an agreement with the Gialloros.
The Italian capitals keep 30 percent of the player’s fee while Sassuolo values the Italy international at 30 million euros.
Roma have so far offered him 17.5 million euros plus the services of youngster Cristian Volpato, while Sassuolo continues to demand several million euros more.
On Tuesday there will be a new meeting between the leaders of the two clubs where an agreement is expected to be reached that would bring Frattes back to the Olimpico.
