VW electric vehicles “are sold” in US and EU

VW electric vehicles ” are sold” in US and EU.

We are only in the fifth month of 2022, but the CEO of Volkswagen, Dr. Herbert Diess has revealed that the company has “basically sold” electric vehicles for this year.

The head of the German car manufacturer said that American and European customers who order electric vehicles from today, will not receive them until 2023.

This is also “a blessing and a curse” as Volkswagen electric vehicles are popular with consumers, but the company is said to be facing a backlog of 300,000 orders in Europe.

And these orders can not be fulfilled overnight, especially with the ongoing chip crisis, so new customers will have to wait their turn.

Volkswagen is also facing a flurry of orders in the United States for ID.4, which is currently imported from Europe.
