Starbucks and McDonald’s suspend all business in Russia

The Starbucks coffee chain has confirmed that it will suspend all business activities in Russia, including the delivery of its products and coffee shops run under the giant’s license.

A similar decision was made by McDonald’s today as a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which is entering the 2nd week of fierce fighting

McDonald’s has even announced that it will temporarily close the 850 restaurants it has in Russia. However, he said that all employees – 62 thousand of them employed in Russia – will continue to be paid.

And Starbucks and McDonalds have followed the example of giants like Apple, Samsung and Zara that have suspended their businesses in Russia.
