The well-known site, “Android Authority” has announced the results of the survey of its readers, which chose the phone with the best camera in 2022.
Users had the option to choose from four phones, which were rated the best in Android Authority reviews.
The contest included the cameras of the following phones: Sony Xperia 1 IV, Google Pixel 7 Pro, Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Readers were provided with photos but did not know which device was used to create which photo. They had three days to vote and the winner was “by a hair” ahead of the runner-up.
Two phones stood out: the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max and the Google Pixel 7 Pro. By a margin of just 0.02 points, the Pixel 7 Pro won, according to Android Authority’s website.
This isn’t the first time the Pixel 7 Pro has won awards on the aforementioned site.
Earlier this year, it won the Editor’s Choice and Reader’s Choice awards for the best smartphone overall.
