Train in Spain surrounded on both sides by fires.

A large part of Europe is facing extreme temperatures in recent days, while some countries on the continent are facing fires.

Fires in Spain, Portugal and Greece have forced the evacuation of thousands of people, similarly reported in France.

A video that has recently gained attention shows passengers inside a train somewhere in Zamora, Spain who are surrounded by raging fires on both sides of the glass.

As reported, the train in Spain had stopped briefly while it was “surrounded” by fires. No one was injured and the vehicle continued on its way a few minutes later.

Otherwise, in recent days, more than 1,000 people have died in Spain and Portugal due to the heat.

In the central Spanish province of Zamora, where the fire has been raging since the weekend, the body of a shepherd was found in the Sierra de la Culebra mountain range. This is reported to be the second fatality from the fires in Zamora, after a 62-year-old firefighter was killed on Sunday.

Fires also broke out in Castilla y León, Galicia, Castile, Andalusia and Extremadura.
