The Samsung Galaxy S23 will use the SnapDragon chip.

In recent years, Samsung has relied on using two different chipsets in the Galaxy-S series of phones, Exynos SoCs for the European and Asian markets, and QualComm and SnapDragon in the rest of the world.

The disparity in performance between the two chips naturally created rifts among their customers, and Samsung seems to be finally putting an end to this practice.

Well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes that Qualcomm will be the sole chip supplier for the new Galaxy S23 series of phones, supplying the company in question with the new SnapDragon 8 Gen 2 (SM-8550) chip, giving power of all S23 units in all world markets.

Kuo says he also believes Samsung is not satisfied with the performance of its new Exynos 2300 chip compared to Qualcomm’s flagship chip in terms of computing power and energy efficiency.

There is still a lot of work to be done before the launch of the Galaxy S23 series, so there will surely be even more new information about this model.
