Microsoft’s latest build for Windows Insider developers comes with a new feature.
The purpose of the function, called “suggested actions”, is simple. Once certain content has been resolved, Windows 11 can suggest / recommend a range of actions that can be performed more quickly.
For example, a user may call a phone number, after which the operating system provides a small window that appears and starts the call. Similar recommendations will appear for choosing a date or time.
The development of recommended actions is still at an early stage, so there is no guarantee that this feature will be available to users in the near future.
The ideas, which Microsoft is testing on its developer channel, do not have a specific release date.
The company points out that the Dev channel is mainly used to experiment with new features, which may eventually be rejected before the official public announcement.
