Over 6500 workers killed for Qatar 2022.
Former Dutch football star Ronald de Boer has caused a great deal of controversy shortly before the draw for the World Cup in Qatar.
In the show “Jinek” on the Dutch television RTL, he spoke about 6500 workers who died in Qatar.
In February this year, more than 6,500 workers coming mostly from the surrounding state died during construction work for the 2022 World Cup.
“It’s really absurd. All the dead in these ten years have been “thrown” in the same pot. “It’s not fair.”
“People are dying and it’s sad, but because of such claims, everyone thinks that all these people have died from the heat while working in the stadium, which is not true,” said the legendary Dutchman.
However, it is hard to believe that De Boer has a neutral stance, because last year it was announced that he will be the ambassador of the World Cup in Qatar in 2022, more precisely the ambassador of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC) .
