Chelsea is surprised by Brentford.
Chelsea have been beaten 4-1 in front of their fans by Brentford in the 31st week of the Premier League.
The first half did not show much of both teams, being a more closed game.
But in the second 45 minutes – Brentford managed to shock Chelsea not once, but three times.
Initially, it was the 48th minute of the meeting, when Antonio Rudiger launched a real rocket with over 30 meters, to defeat the guest goalkeeper.
But Brentford managed to equalize after just one minute, when Bryan Mbeumo assisted on Vitaly Janelt for 1-1.
Mbeumo was again in the role of assistant, as in the 54th minute he found Christian Eriksen who scored for 2-1.
Moreover, Brentford managed to score the third at Stamford Bridge, after Janlet (61 ′), scored the second personal goal for 3-1.
The Blues tried to get at least one point until the end, but the guests managed to score the fourth through Yoane Wissa who scored in the 88th minute.
After the 31st week, Chelsea is in third place with 59 points, while in the next round they will meet Southampton.
