The IAEA has lost contact with Chernobyl.

The UN agency said the nuclear material monitoring systems at the facilities of Chernobyl nuclear power plant have stopped sending data to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

We note that in recent days Russia has taken control of the nuclear power plant, which in the past had caused great human disaster.

“Ukraine told the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) today that it was becoming increasingly urgent and important for the safe management of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) to rotate 210 technical personnel and guards who have been working there. “

The Director General also indicated that remote data transmission from safeguards monitoring systems installed at the Chernobyl NPP had been lost.

Russia launched an aggression in Ukraine on February 24 this year and later on managed to take the control of Chernobyl.
