Murray: I will donate all my winnings this year.
Tennis star Andy Murray has pledged to donate all the money he will earn in 2022 to help children affected by the crisis in Ukraine.
Murray, who is UNICEF ambassador in the UK, is working with charities to help children in Ukraine with medical equipment and educational needs
“More than 7.5 million children are at risk because of the escalating conflict in Ukraine, so I am working with UNICEF-UK to help provide emergency medical care and early childhood development kits.”
“I’m going to be donating my earnings from my prize money for the rest of the year, but anyone in the UK can support UNICEF’s humanitarian response by donating to our appeal by following this link: https://unicef.uk/am_ukraine” wrote the Scotsman on Twitter.
