DiCaprio donates 10 million dollars to the Ukraine.
Leonardo DiCaprio is reported to have donated ten million dollars to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the largest donation offered to the country to date.
The Hollywood superstar, known for his role in the movie “Titanic”, Leonardo DiCaprio, has transferred ten million dollars to the Ukrainian government as the war between Russia and Ukraine continues.
Apparently, the large donation is intended to support war efforts, as well as humanitarian efforts within the country.
It is noted that DiCaprio, who has Ukrainian roots because of his grandmother, has strongly condemned the Russian invasion of Ukraine – joining a large number of other celebrities.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called on the world for military and financial support, as the Russian occupation of Ukraine has a high tax on the country.
According to international tabloids, the National Bank of Ukraine has decided to open a special fundraising account to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine
