Date of the FIFA World Cup 2022 Draw.
The 2022 World Cup is one step closer, as on Friday, April 1st, the official draw will be held in the host country, Qatar.
Fifteen of the 32 teams have already qualified including the host country, Qatar.
From Europe, former champions Germany, Spain, England and France have already cut their tickets to Qatar along with the Netherlands, Croatia, Serbia, Switzerland and number one team, Belgium.
The two former champions have also qualified from South America, Brazil and Argentina, while from Asia, Iran and South Korea will also go to Qatar.
Qualifications of the other teams will resume across the globe on March 24th.
FIFA announced that the draw will take place on Friday, April 1, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC).
The draw ceremony will be attended by 2,000 special guests and at the end of the event, the best teams will be able to determine their path to the Cup final.
The final match will take place on December 18 at the “Lusail” stadium with a capacity of 80 thousand people.
The tournament kicks off on Monday 21 November at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor with a match where the host country, Qatar, will play.
