A small aircraft crashed on Saturday morning in Limburgerhof, located in the Rhineland-Palatinate region. According to police reports, the two people aboard the plane were killed in the incident. The aircraft reportedly came down around 11:30 AM, impacting a property on Max-Planck-Straße.
Debris has been scattered over a wide area around the initial crash site. Authorities confirmed that, as of now, there are no reported injured residents.
Due to the nature of the accident, the crash site has been cordoned off over a large radius. The criminal police have launched a full investigation to determine the cause of the crash. In response to the event, a resource center has been established for residents at the Albert-Schweitzer-Haus. Furthermore, a police helicopter is capturing aerial images of the scene for investigative purposes.
