Israel Army Declares All Potential Successors of Iran's Khamenei Targeted by Military to Avoid Succession Challenges

The Israeli army has declared that any successor to Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, will be regarded as a potential target. In a post written in Farsi, the IDF stated it would pursue anyone who attempts to appoint a new leader, warning participants of the succession meeting that they too could be singled out.

Khamenei was killed in U.S.-Israeli attacks on the first day of the current war, which began last Saturday. The Iranian Experts Council is expected to name a new Supreme Leader soon. One of the leading candidates is Modschtaba Khamenei, a son of Ali Khamenei.
