The police in Colorado have published the terrifying video where you can see how the train hits the police car, inside which was a woman arrested and handcuffed.
The Fort Lupton Police Department on Sunday released footage showing Yareni Rios-Gonzalez inside the police car that was hit by the train.
Rios Gonzalez after the collision with the train was hospitalized after the many injuries she suffered.
In fact, the police had stopped Rios-Gonzalez on September 16 for “uncontrolled driving”, and had immediately handcuffed her and put her in the police car that was parked in the middle of the road, a few meters behind her car.
In the video, she can be seen sitting in the car, while the police were checking her vehicle.
A few minutes later, the train’s siren is heard and the cops panic as the train hits the vehicle – throwing it tens of meters into a field.
In the video, the police are seen asking for medical help, while Rios-Gonzalez’s lawyer, Paul Wilkinson, said that she tried to get out of the cars at all costs while the train was approaching.
“While she was sitting in the back of the car, she could see the train coming. She tried to run away, tried to open the door, but she was handcuffed,” said the defense lawyer.
