Huntrix's Golden Still Tops German Charts

Germany’s official charts see continued success for “Golden” by the virtual girl group Huntrix, maintaining its number one position on the singles chart, as reported by GfK Entertainment on Friday. The track, featured in the animated film “KPop Demon Hunters” produced by streaming giant Netflix, is performed by the artists Ejae, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami. Close behind, Alex Warren secures the second spot with “Ordinary” while Zartmann’s “Tau mich auf” rounds out the top three.

The album charts witnessed a shift with KPop boygroup Stray Kids reaching the number one position for the first time with their new release, “Karma” following four previous top three album placements. Medieval-themed band Feuerschwanz claimed second place with “Knightclub”. Pop-rock group Revolverheld achieved a third-place finish with “20” and the soundtrack to Netflix’s “KPop Demon Hunters” landed in fourth. Rounding out the top five is the alternative-metal band Deftones with their album “Private Music.

GfK Entertainment compiles the official German charts on behalf of the German Music Industry Association (BVMI), reflecting 90 percent of all music sales within the country.
