Notre-Dame Cathedral could reopen in 2024.
Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris is on track to reopen to worshipers and the public in 2024.
This is what Culture Minister Rima Abdul Malak said on Thursday, more than three years after her roof was destroyed by a massive fire.
She said the clean-up phase of the restoration project had been completed, allowing rebuilding work to begin in late summer.
Notre-Dame has been closed for restoration since a fire in 2019 destroyed its roof and caused its spire to collapse.
