Rheinmetall: No Problem with Trump Tariffs, Sees Strong Future in US Military Programs and European Growth Opportunities.

The arms company Rheinmetall is taking the trade policies of US President Donald Trump in stride. “We are also an important player in the USA and operate there as a fully American provider. In terms of tariffs, we have no problem. We expect good chances in large programs of the US military. We receive very positive feedback from the US government, so we see ourselves well positioned” said Rheinmetall CEO Armin Papperger in the “Rheinische Post” (Tuesday).

Looking ahead to the first 100 days of Trump’s presidency, the CEO of the arms company said: “Since January 20, 2025, it is finally clear that Europe must now grow up. For us at Rheinmetall, this brings opportunities, but also a great responsibility. Many governments are now asking about our products and our growth has accelerated significantly” said Papperger.
