Current military assistance to Ukraine is insufficient.
The coming months will be crucial for Ukraine’s defense and more needs to be done to provide the type of weapons needed, says a Polish institute.
Thus, in a post for the Polish Institute of International Affairs, analyst Marcin Andrzej Piotrowski says that the rate and pace of military aid should increase.
According to him, for Russia to lose the initiative, Ukrainian forces must increase their maneuver with new tanks and weapons.
He added: “In order to protect Ukraine in the long run, it will be necessary to rearm its aviation with Western aircraft, first of all with A-10 attack aircraft.”
As he assessed, “currently the small fleet and the protection of the Ukrainian coast also do not enable the unlocking of its ports.”
