Russian President Vladimir Putin visited a combat command center in the Kursk region on Wednesday, where he met with Russian military commanders and received a report from the General Staff Chief, General Valery Gerasimov. Putin expressed his gratitude to the General Staff and the units fighting in the region for their efforts.

According to Putin, the Russian military must defeat the Ukrainian forces that have entered the Kursk region as soon as possible. Russia’s military is continuing a large-scale counteroffensive against Ukrainian troops remaining in the Kursk area. Further information will be released shortly.
