Authorities announced on Tuesday that ongoing investigations are continuing into the cause of the incident while search and rescue operations for three missing persons are being maintained. The missing individuals consist of two Romanian citizens, a woman aged 25 and another aged 26, and a 47-year-old man holding German and Bulgarian nationality. Due to the incident, significant traffic restrictions are expected throughout the entire city of Görlitz until further notice. Travelers heading toward Poland are advised to use detour routes via Radmeritz, Hagenwerder, and Ludwigsdorf.
