Antonelli Clinches Third Consecutive Formula One Victory in Miami

Kimi Antonelli completed a historic run, securing his third consecutive Formula 1 victory at the Miami Grand Prix. The Mercedes pilot navigated an exciting race to defeat Lando Norris of McLaren, significantly extending his lead in the championship standings. In contrast, Max Verstappen, who experienced mechanical difficulties at the start and had to enter the pits during a Safety Car phase, could only manage fifth place despite a determined effort to climb back through the field.

Oscar Piastri secured the third podium spot for McLaren, closely followed by George Russell in the Mercedes. For another prominent driver, Charles Leclerc saw his position drop sharply from third to sixth place after spinning on the final lap. The rest of the top ten was rounded out by Lewis Hamilton in the Ferrari (7th), Franco Colapinto in the Alpine, and Williams drivers Carlos Sainz and Alexander Albon.

The race was marked by intense action, including an accident involving Liam Lawson and Pierre Gasly. While Gasly’s car rolled over, he remained uninjured. Furthermore, Nico Hülkenberg was forced to stop his Audi during the Safety Car phase.

After the checkered flag waved, drama continued off-track. Max Verstappen faces potential penalties for crossing the white line during his pit stop. Meanwhile, both George Russell and Verstappen are currently under investigation concerning collisions that involved Verstappen, Leclerc, and Russell.
