At least three explosions were heard in the Ukrainian capital Kiev.
Mayor Vitalii Klitschko said residential buildings in the central area of Shevchenkivskiy were damaged.
Andriy Yermak, the head of President Zelensky’s office, said the attacks were by so-called kamikaze drones.
These attacks come a week after the capital was hit by several Russian missiles that left at least 19 people dead.
The blasts on Monday occurred at around 07:00 local time (04:00 GMT).
Even Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Goncharenko, through a post on Twitter, announced that Russia has attacked the center of Kiev.
“Right now, Russia is attacking the center of Kiev with Iranian drones. A big fire started. The rescue teams are working,” wrote Goncharenko.
