Russian President Vladimir Putin has been seen closely following the Vostok 2022 military exercises. But this appearance of his is being described as an inappropriate meeting with the heads of the Russian army.
The video posted below shows Putin next to the head of the General Staff of the Russian army, Valery Gerasimov, from whom he leaves after sitting down and does not say a word until the Minister of Defense, Sergei Shoigu, arrives.
Gerasimov was constantly touching his hair and looking at some documents, while Putin watched the military exercise through binoculars.
According to body language experts, they say that Putin is not so happy with the army chiefs who seem to be failing to achieve their goal in Ukraine – the occupation of the country.
“Putin apparently does not want to talk to the commander of the Russian armed forces,” wrote former Swedish Prime Minister Carl Bildt.
Many other videos prove that Putin does not have such good relations with senior military officials – where while they were reporting to him on the situation in Ukraine, he looked nervous and constantly scratched the table with his nails.
