The German Foreign Minister, Analena Baerbock, is making an unannounced visit to Kiev, Ukraine.
The German official in this form wants to show that Ukraine can count on the support of Berlin.
Germany will continue to support Kiev “as long as necessary, with arms shipments and humanitarian and financial support,” she said.
“It is clear to me, (Russian President Vladimir) Putin is getting tired of our support and solidarity with Ukraine,” said the German top diplomat.
“He believes he can divide our societies with lies and blackmail them with energy supplies,” she added.
Otherwise, this is her second visit to Kiev since the beginning of the Russian invasion in February.
