Russia is responsible for the explosion in Belgorod.
This morning it was reported that Ukrainian helicopters had destroyed a gas depot in Belgorod, near the border near Kharkiv.
If true, this would be the first air strike by Kiev forces on Russian territory since the beginning of the conflict.
Speaking about the allegations, Ukrainian presidential adviser Oleksiy Arestovych said it was Russia’s responsibility to explain what happened on their territory.
“As for what is happening in the territory of the Russian Federation, the leadership of the Russian Federation is responsible for that,” he said.
“Consequently, it is their duty to find out what is happening in Belgorod. Maybe someone smoked in the wrong place, or something. “Perhaps the Russian army is sabotaging their orders and using the available means because they do not want to enter Ukrainian territory,” Arestovych said.
