Paris Saint-Germain could have a whole new lineup next season if Antonio Conte takes over the lead of the team.
Shocking reports emerged yesterday that Mauricio Pochettino will be fired from the post of Paris Saint-Germain coach and that the Tottenham Hotspur Italian wants to succeed him.
They came just a day after Poch’s team regained the Ligue 1 title from Lille with a 1-1 draw with Lens.
According to Le Parisien, Pochettino will leave immediately – just days after being turned down for a job at Manchester United, losing in a duel with Erik ten Hag.
A meeting between PSG directors and Pochettino revealed that neither side wants to continue their relationship.
It is claimed that Conte is ready to leave Tottenham less than a year in order to take the team from the French capital.
And that may not be the only big change at the club over the summer.
It has previously been reported that PSG wanted to sign Manchester United star Marcus Rashford in the summer as a possible replacement for Kylian Mbappen.
The French striker has been closely linked with a move to Real Madrid as he approaches the end of his contract at the Parc des Princes.
PSG have also held talks to sign Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku, according to reports.
PSG have never hesitated to spend money in the past – and it is also linked to the transfer of Harry Kane.
