The Russian invasion of Ukraine has caused great damage to the Ukrainian economy, amounting to 119 billion dollars, announced the Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Denys Kudin.
He said that 75 percent of businesses affected by the war have stopped working and most are related to metallurgy, where in eastern Ukraine this sector is not functioning at all.
“This means that we will have less export of metals,” added the Minister of Economy – adding that the export of metals has fallen sharply.
This amount will only go higher with every passing day that the businesses dont function properly.
Otherwise, fighting in Ukraine has not stopped between Ukrainian and Russian forces, where in the early hours of this morning there were heavy shelling in the western part of Ukraine.
