US Police Arrest Man Linked to Murder of United Healthcare CEO’s CEO
According to multiple US media outlets, citing the New York Police Department on Monday, a 26-year-old man, Luigi M., has been arrested in connection with the murder of Brian Thompson, CEO of the insurance company “United Healthcare”. The man was reportedly apprehended at a McDonald’s in Altoona, Pennsylvania, and found to be in possession of several fake IDs, a weapon with a silencer, and a document expressing his discontent with the healthcare system, a police officer from CNN was quoted as saying.
Brian Thompson was shot in the back by a masked man on the early morning of December 4 outside a Manhattan hotel. The suspect, according to police, fled on a bicycle into Central Park, then took a taxi and bus to leave the city.
