Weeks of fighting around the eastern city of Bakhmut continues, with Russia making little – if any – progress.
During the New Year holidays, Wagner Group founder Yevgeny Prigozhin visited the front lines near Bakhmut.
He gave several explanations as to why Moscow’s soldiers are having difficulty making progress.
In a newly released video, Prigozhin said the Ukrainians have hundreds of lines of defense.
That said, there is a line of defense roughly “every 10 meters,” he said, and Russia lacks vehicles and equipment.
Prigozhin’s secret mercenary group is among the pro-Russian troops fighting around Bakhmut.
