Chelsea have announced that young striker David Datro Fofana will join the club once the January transfer window officially opens.
The Blues beat off several other Premier League sides to sign the Molde-based talent.
“Chelsea FC has reached an agreement with Molde FK for the transfer of David Datro Fofana”.
“The 20-year-old forward will join the Blues on January 1, 2023. We look forward to David at the club!”, the announcement states.
Fofana scored 15 times for Molde in 2022. Brighton, Brentford and Leicester were in the running for the striker.
