Elon Musk has hired family members to work at Twitter’s headquarters in San Francisco.
His cousins James Musk and Andrew Musk — sons of the billionaire’s uncle — now appear to be full-time employees at Twitter.
Andrew Musk works on software engineering projects, while James Musk is more of a “fixer-type guy,” helping Elon Musk with various tasks, an insider said.
The world’s richest man has also brought in staff from his other companies, including engineers from Tesla and The Boring Company.
Others include his lawyer Alex Spiro and his right-hand man Jared Birchall, who runs Musk’s family office, Excession. They are among Musk’s confidants.
Since Elon Musk took the helm at Twitter in late October, about 70% of its 7,500-strong workforce has been laid off or resigned.
