Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj once again dominated the single charts for the third consecutive time, with their song “Beauty And A Beat” topping the lists, according to GfK on Friday. Following them, the rappers Dardan and Azet debut at number two with “Vermisse” while Zara Larsson secured bronze at number three with “Lush Life”.
In album charts, Billie Eilish remains at the top of the official German album charts with her release, “Hit Me Hard And Soft”. Completing the top three spots are BTS with “Arirang” (occupying two positions) and Unheilig with “Liebe Glaube Monster” (holding three positions).
Following the release of the biopic “Michael” the late Michael Jackson has placed “Thriller” at number four and “Bad” at number nine. Calimeros’s “Portofino” occupies the fifth spot. Other artists in the top ten include singer Tori Amos with “In Times Of Dragons” (six) and the blues-rock duo The Black Keys with “Peaches” (seven).
GfK Entertainment determines the official German charts on behalf of the German Music Industry Association, covering 90 percent of all music sales.
