According to the newly published ZDF political barometer, the Alternative for Germany (AfD) maintains a lead over the CDU/CSU coalition. The poll projects that if a federal election were held this Sunday, the AfD would capture 27 percent of the vote, marking a one-point increase. In comparison, the CDU/CSU remains steady at 25 percent.
The Green party records a slight dip, falling by one point to 13 percent. The SPD and the Linke remain unchanged at 12 and 11 percent, respectively. The FDP holds its ground at three percent, while all other parties collectively account for nine percent of the vote.
