The decisive goal came in the 61st minute, scored by Laurin Ulrich. Following an attempted cross from Alexander Nollenberger, which failed to evade the goalkeeper, Tjark Ernst, Ulrich managed to tap the ball into the net from close range, sliding it under the crossbar.
