Green Party Demands Stronger Fight Against Rising Antisemitism in Germany

Konstantin von Notz, the Deputy Parliamentary Group Chair of the Green Party, has called for greater determination in the fight against antisemitism in Germany. Speaking to the “Rheinische Post” (Saturday edition), he condemned the growing attacks and hatred directed at Jewish people and Jewish life in Germany as “absolutely unacceptable and disgusting”.

His remarks followed a recent survey by the Central Council of Jews, which indicated that more than two-thirds of Jewish communities across Germany perceive the country as unsafe since the Hamas attack on Israel.

Notz stressed that German society has a duty to confront antisemitism anywhere and at any time, using all available legal means. Furthermore, the Green Party politician criticized those who attempt to justify the hate and attacks through the actions of the Netanyahu government. He labeled this viewpoint as a terrifying misjudgment, which effectively documents open hostility toward humanity.
