Gas station prices across Germany are increasing again. Despite a slight easing observed in fuel costs over recent weeks, prices for both diesel and Super E10 have notably risen in the latest reporting period.
According to the ADAC, Super E10 fuel has become 4.4 cents more expensive compared to the previous week, now averaging €2.103 per liter. The increase is even more pronounced for diesel, with the nationwide average reaching €2.200 per liter-a jump of 7.1 cents from last week.
Looking ahead, the ADAC anticipates that following the reduction in the energy tax scheduled for May 1st, fuel prices will gradually decline. This expected drop is linked to the tax relief amount of €16.7 cents per liter, although the ADAC notes that the May public holiday could potentially cause a slight delay in this reduction.
