In the 30th round of the league, Hannover 96 and SC Paderborn drew with a 1-1 scoreline. Paderborn took the lead in the 40th minute when Felix Götze scored from a corner kick delivered by Raphael Obermair. Hannover managed to equalise in the 78th minute; Benjamin Källman scored a header from a cross by Mustapha Bundu.
The match started with high intensity as both teams aggressively pushed forward early on. Hannover experienced some bad luck in the opening phase when a deflected ball by Waniss Taibi only struck the post. Paderborn maintained a compact defense and successfully used a set-piece situation to secure their lead through Götze.
Although Paderborn appeared to be attacking more strongly in the second half, Hannover increased the pressure near the end, resulting in Källman’s equaliser. Both teams had chances in the final minutes to score a winner, but both Hannover’s goalkeeper, Nahuel Noll, and Paderborn’s defense successfully prevented them.
