Despite a declared ceasefire between the United States and Iran, both the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait reported new attacks originating from Iran on Wednesday. The Kuwaiti army reported that its air defenses intercepted a wave of Iranian drones early that morning. Some of these drones reportedly targeted vital oil facilities, power plants, and water desalination facilities, resulting in significant damage to the infrastructure. In the United Arab Emirates, Iranian ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones were intercepted throughout the morning. On this occasion, it was initially unclear as to why Iran was launching attacks despite the truce that had been established just hours earlier.
