The Digital Ministry, headed by Karsten Wildberger of the CDU, plans to launch a central business‑founding platform this year to make company creation faster and easier.
Founders have long requested a single, state‑run point of contact to navigate the complex paperwork, and the ministry confirmed that the new platform will serve exactly that role.
The system is being designed as a “one‑stop shop” that consolidates the entire startup process into a single, efficient workflow. In addition, a new combined application is under development, which will bundle business registration and tax registration into one procedure.
Under the federal modernization agenda, the federal government and the 16 states reached an agreement at the end of 2025 that new companies should be able to complete the registration within 24 hours.
